Cetirizine hydrochloride 10mg is an antihistamine. It is prescribed to treat the sneezing; itchy, runny nose; and itchy, red, watery eyes caused by allergies such as hay fever. Cetirizine hydrochloride also relieves the symptoms of year-round allergies due to dust, mould, and animal dander. This medication is also used in the treatment of chronic itchy skin and hives.
Dosage
Adults and children 6+ should take one tablet daily.
Warning
Do not give to children under 6 years of age. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Do not use if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children. These tablets do not normally cause drowsiness, however, individuals can react differently so if you are affected you should not drive or operate machinery.
