Cuprofen Maximum Strength Tablets are a type of medicine called a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Ibuprofen is a simple painkilling medicine used to relieve mild to moderate pain, inflammation and fever. Cuprofen Maximum reduces inflammation and related pain and so can be used to relieve muscular and rheumatic aches and pains. It can also be used to relieve other painful conditions such as headaches, migraine, toothache, nerve pain (neuralgia) and period pain. It is also useful for reducing fever and discomfort associated with colds and flu.
Dosage
Adults, 1 tablets with water after food and 1-2 tablets every 4 hours if needed. Maximum 3 tablets in 24 hours. Children not recommended.
Side Effects
Reactions such as headache, dizziness, skin rash, depression may occur occasionally. Usage may induce gastric irritation, nausea, dyspepsia and stomach bleeding.
Warning
If you are allergic to aspirin, suffer from asthma, may be pregnant or receiving regular medical treatment, for example warfarin for blood clots (thrombosis). Do not take if you have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders.
